Alice's Support Services
This service provides support for women with or without children, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and are experiencing mental health issues who would be at risk of homelessness.
Support includes home visits for women and children, and support with court visits, housing applications, mediation, and custody issues. The service also links clients to other appropriate support services, parenting skills support, advocacy for children, hospital visits, therapy groups and networking.
The service provides a specialised children’s worker who works individually with high needs children in conjunction with their mothers.
It also provides consultancy and training to specialist homelessness service providers to assist them to meet the needs of these client groups.
