Armidale Women's Homelessness Support Service

The service supports women with children, single women and young women over 16 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It includes women and families affected by domestic and family violence or with complex needs.

It covers the Armidale-Dumaresq, Walcha, Uralla and Guyra areas.

It provides client-centred homelessness support, including prevention and early intervention, rapid rehousing, crisis and transitional accommodation, and intensive responses for women and families with complex needs. Post-crisis support is also provided to assist them to maintain the accommodation.

The service has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal young people, women, and families, and is accessible to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
