Canterbury Bankstown Youth Homelessness Service

This service provides support to young people under the age of 25 years who are who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

This service provides prevention and early intervention, supported crisis and transitional accommodation, and help to rapidly re-house young people ready for independent living with some support. It provides post-crisis support to help keep young people housed.

The service works collaboratively with other agencies and helps connect young people to education, and training and employment opportunities, as well as to positive family and community networks. It also provides support for those experiencing mental health issues.

The service also provides prevention and early intervention support and supporting those with complex needs. It has a strong focus on young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and Aboriginal young people.
