Central Coast Homelessness Support Service for Men
Central Coast Homelessness Support Service for Men, operating as Coast Shelter - Coimba Men's Refuge, provides support services for men with complex needs whoa re homeless or are at risk of homelessness. It has a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal men. It also supports men who have exited corrective services, men experiencing physical and/or mental trauma, as well as those who have alcohol and other drug issues.
It provides crisis and transitional accommodation, early intervention, case management, outreach support and rapid rehousing. Post-crisis support is also include to help men access and obtain stable long-term housing.
The service also provides financial management and budgeting assistance, legal advice, financial advice, family mediation services, emotional support, mental health support, counselling, and tenancy advice services.
