Inner City Rapid Response Homelessness Service

This service supports young people, women, men, transgender, gender diverse people, and families experiencing homelessness in the Inner City area to find and sustain long term housing options. It will engage people as early as possible to reduce the time they spend homeless and support them to find a long-term housing option.

This service will also respond to people already located in the inner city who have recently become homeless. The service model will focus on providing responses that lessen the likelihood of the client becoming entrenched in the homeless service system.

The service can provide outreach support, case management, case coordination, and assistance to address immediate needs. It also provides information, advocacy, referral and transitional accommodation.

This service will target people who are new arrivals to inner city homelessness to support them safely return to their communities of origin. It has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal people and is accessible to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

This service supports: young people; women; men; Aboriginal people; families
