Lithgow Homelessness and Housing Support Service
The Lithgow Homelessness and Housing Support Service operating as Lithgow Community Projects provides support and case management for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the Greater Lithgow area and its surrounding villages of Capertee, Capertee Valley, Clarence, Cullen Bullen, Glen, Alice, Glen Davis, Hampton, Hartley, Lake Lyell, Lidsdale/Blackmans Flat, Meadow Flat, Newnes, Portland, Rydal, and Wallerawang.
This Service delivers prevention and early intervention; rapid rehousing; and crisis and transitional housing. It also help clients to find safe medium to long-term accommodation.
This service provides Domestic Violence Response Enhancement (DVRE) to strength their after-hours responses to women in crisis.
The service has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal young people, women, men and families, and is accessible to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
