Northern Sydney Homelessness Early Intervention and Prevention (EIP) Service

This service operating as Mission Australia – Northern Sydney, supports young people, women, men and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It intervenes early to prevent homelessness and provide support to tenants at risk of homelessness by addressing the issues that are placing their tenancies at risk. It also works with people residing in unsustainable and unsafe accommodation to assist them in finding suitable long-term accommodation. It also supports clients who are experiencing overcrowding or are in insecure accommodation, as well as private rental tenants who are identified as being in rental stress.

This service also provides case management, outreach, advocacy, information and referral support, brokerage and post crisis support.

It also has a strong focus on Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
