Shoalhaven Youth Homelessness Support Service
The Shoalhaven Youth Homelessness Support Service will support young people aged under 25 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
It provides early intervention and prevention through outreach to assist young people to sustain tenancies. It also supports those with complex needs and/or leaving care or other institutions, provides supported crisis and transitional accommodation and post-crisis support.
A key focus of this service is to support and facilitate young people’s access to education, training and employment services. They build strong links with schools, family referral services, and other relevant providers in the local network.
This service has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal young people and is accessible to young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
