Western Sydney Homelessness Outreach, Prevention and Rapid Rehousing

This service provides support to young people, women, men, families over the age of 21 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal people and is accessible to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

It provides prevention and early intervention, rapid re-housing support for adults and families. It will also include rough sleepers, people with mental health issues, people leaving custody, with a disability,

The service targets client groups such as social housing tenants whose tenancies have been identified at-risk, boarding house and caravan park tenants whose tenancies have been identified at-risk, private rental tenants who are identified as being in rental stress, and homeowners who are identified as being in mortgage stress. It works in partnership with all other services in the district to facilitate early intervention approaches and rapid re-housing responses.
