YACAABA Centre

The Yacaaba Centre provides early intervention support and counselling services to assist vulnerable people who are at imminent risk of homelessness or who are homeless in the Port Stephens area. It also provides domestic violence support and mental health support.

This service works in partnership with the Port Stephens Homelessness Support Service to ensure people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness receive access and referral to appropriate support.

It also works collaboratively with a range of mainstream government and non-government providers to ensure people who are assisted continue to sustain their accommodation.
